non-alcoholic drinks whole foods market

Headed to Whole Foods and want to grab some exciting new non-alcoholic drinks without spending a whole paycheck? Whether you’re cutting back or have completely cut out booze from your life, the non-alcoholic drinks at Whole Foods will certainly not let you down.

From craft sodas to mocktails to de-alcoholized wines and beer or adaptogen drinks, there is something for everyone.

The great thing about drinking alcohol-free beverages is that they can be less expensive than, say, a bottle of wine, and you get to cut out all the added calories from alcohol. Since these drinks are from Whole Foods, you know they will be, on average, healthier, more eco-friendly, and more likely to contain natural ingredients.

In this article, I’ll share the non-alcoholic drinks at Whole Foods that caught my eye on a recent trip to a San Diego-based store. Many of which I’ve loved and recommend anyone pick up on their next trip to Whole Foods.

Please note that each store will stock different brands and flavors and run different sales and promotions.

If you can’t find one of these non-alcoholic drinks at a Whole Foods near you, you can always check out ye old faithful, Amazon. I’ve also linked back to the beverage brands’ websites so you can learn more.

Top Non-Alcoholic Drinks at Whole Foods

First, let’s dive into all the drinks that have nothing to do with booze – the traditionally alcohol-free ones. If you’re someone who loves seltzer waters, probiotic sodas, kombucha, etc., Whole Foods is going to be your new Disneyland.

Let’s take a look at some of the newest beverage brands to arrive at Whole Foods:

Wave Soda partnered with 1% for the Planet, giving 1% of its annual sales to the Surfrider Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to keeping every beach clean and accessible for all to enjoy.

And that she did! Not just for friends and family, but for us lucky Whole Foods shoppers.

These aguas frescas are lightly sweetened with organic agave nectar, providing a refreshing and satisfying taste without the use of artificial sweeteners. The hibiscus flowers used in the drink are certified organic and are sourced from a family-owned farm in Mexico.

Most of these drinks are very niche and only found online or in specialty stores, but we’ll keep an eye out!

Brooklyn Brewery has officially entered the non-alcoholic game, and let me tell you, they’re killing it with three delicious beers to choose from.

Special Effects Hoppy Amber is packed with all the delicious hoppy goodness you love in a regular brew, but without the alcohol.

If you love IPA, they have one bursting with juicy citrus flavors and a hoppy kick. It’s the perfect beer for those who want to enjoy all the flavors of an IPA without any of the boozy aftermath.

And don’t worry, if you’re more of a classic beer lover, Brooklyn Brewery’s non-alcoholic lager has got you covered. It’s crisp, refreshing, and has that signature clean finish that you know and love.

But what I love most about Brooklyn Brewery’s non-alcoholic beers is their commitment to quality ingredients and sustainable practices. They use locally sourced hops and malt, and their brewing process is designed to minimize waste and reduce their carbon footprint. So, you can feel good about enjoying a cold one (or two, or three) without harming the environment.

Rationale Brewing is the brainchild of two science-loving beer enthusiasts who are taking the craft beer world by storm.

What sets Rationale Brewing apart? These brewmasters use a little something called “rational design” to create their deliciously unique beers. It’s a scientific approach to brewing that involves tweaking the beer’s ingredients and processes until they reach the perfect flavor profile.

And boy, do they ever hit the mark! Rationale Brewing offers a range of flavors that’ll make your taste buds do a happy dance from its Citrus Hazy IPA to its Mexican Lager.

So, whether you’re a science geek or just love a damn good brew, Rationale Brewing has got you covered. Their flavorful, sustainable, and community-driven approach to beer will win you over.

Hoplark’s non-alcoholic beer collection is packed with unique, delicious flavors that’ll make you forget you’re not drinking a boozy brew. From their zesty, citrusy HopTea to their earthy and complex Hoplark HopTea Blend, there’s a flavor for every taste bud.

But here’s the kicker – Hoplark’s non-alcoholic beers aren’t even technically beer! That’s right, they’re brewed with tea instead of malt and hops, which gives them a totally different flavor profile. But don’t worry, they still pack that signature hoppy punch that we all know and love.

You can try all three kinds of beverages by Hoplark: HopTea, Hoplark 0.0, and Hoplark Water (similar to the Lagunitas Refresher).

This non-alcoholic brew is bursting with the same bold, hoppy flavor as Lagunitas’ classic IPAs, but without the buzz. That’s right; you can enjoy all the flavor of a Lagunitas IPA without worrying about stumbling home after one too many.

Lagunitas IPNA beer is hoppy, citrusy, and just downright delicious. It’s the perfect beer to sip on after a long day or bring to a BBQ when trying to impress your friends with your beer knowledge (even if you’re not drinking the hard stuff).

But what really sets Lagunitas apart is their commitment to doing things their own way. They’re not afraid to take risks, try new things, and push the boundaries of what beer can be. And let’s be honest – isn’t that what we all want in a beer (and in life)?

So, if you’re looking for a non-alcoholic beer that’s packed with flavor, style, and a little bit of rebellious spirit, look no further than Lagunitas IPNA beer.

Non-Alcoholic Wine

While not nearly as extensive as its selection of non-alcoholic beer, Whole Foods does carry non-alcoholic wine or de-alcoholized wine.

Come to think of it, maybe Whole Foods stores outside of San Diego carry more NA-wine, but since we are a city that loves its craft beer, they probably skew more heavily to that side. After all, San Diego is home to over 150 local breweries, like the famous Stone Brewing Co!

29. Ariel
